Water Treatment Plant (Harrison Hot Springs)
Water was being pumped from Harrision Lake to an upland reservoir and was treated by the addition of chlorine at a station between those 2 locations. Carver was contracted to design and build a new water treatment facility to provide significant upgrades to this process. The new facility consists of a concrete foundation with a pre-engineered building erected to house a new membrane filtration system and the associated appurtenances. A new natural gas and underground power service was also provided to the building. All underground tie-ins and site restoration were completed in order to provide the client with a “turn-key” facility.
