District of Invermere WTP UV Disinfection Upgrades

Construction of a new WTP UV disinfection facility begun in May 2017 at the current Paddy Ryan Reservoir location and was completed by December 2017. Work for this project included the conversion of a chlorine gas to sodium hypochlorite system. Tie-ins to the new facility were completed from the existing water mains. Decommissioning and disposal of all existing equipment was also required to complete this project.
